Once upon a time, there were three little pigs.
从前，有三只小猪。
One day their mother said,
一天，他们的妈妈说，
“You are growing up. It is time for you to go and make your own houses.”
你们长大了，是时候来建造自己的房屋了。
So off went the three little pigs.
三只小猪出了家门。
The first little pig made their house of straw.
第一只小猪制作了一个稻草屋。
The second little pig made his house of sticks.

But the third little pig worked all day and made his house of bricks.

When the sun went down, the brick house was ready to live in.

The next day, a big bad wolf came out of the forest.

He saw the house made of straw. He looked in the window.
他看到了一间用稻草建造的房屋，他从窗户向里面看。
“Little pig, little pig, let me come in,” he called.
他叫道，小猪，小猪，让我进去。
“No! No!” cried the first little pig. “Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin. I will not let you in.”
第一只小猪叫喊到，不，不，完全不可能，我不会让你进来的。
“Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in,”said the big bad wolf.
大野狼说，那我就把你的屋子吹倒。
So he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house in.
大野狼吹啊吹，它把屋子吹倒了。
The first little pig ran as fast as he could to the house made of sticks.
第一只小猪以最快的速度跑到了树枝的房屋里来。
“Help,” he cried, “Let me in! The big bad wolf is coming.”
他喊叫到，救命，让我进去，大野狼来了。
The wolf looked in the window.
大野狼从窗户向里看。
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in,” he called.
他喊叫道，小猪，小猪，让我进去。
“No! No!” cried the second little pig. “Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin. I will not let you in.”
第二只小猪叫喊到，不，不，绝不可能，我不会让你进来的。
So the wolf huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house in.
大野狼吹啊吹，他将屋子吹倒了。
The two little pigs ran as fast as they could to the house made of bricks.
第二只小猪以最快的速度向砖头屋跑去。
“Help,” they cried, “Let us in! The big bad wolf is coming.”
他们叫嚷到，救命，让我进去，大野狼来了。
They ran inside, and the third little pig locked the door.
他们跑了进去，第三只小猪锁上了门。
Very soon the big bad wolf came to the house made of bricks.
不一会，大野狼就来到了砖头屋前。
He looked in the window.
他从窗户向里看。
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in,” he called.
他叫喊道，小猪，小猪，让我进去。
“No! No!” cried the third little pig. “Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin. I will not let you in.”
第三只小猪说，不，不，绝不可能，我不会让进去。
So the wolf huffed, and he puffed, and he puffed, and he puffed,but he could not blow the house in.
大野狼吹啊吹，吹啊吹。但是，他无法将屋子吹倒。
Then the big bad wolf jumped up onto the roof.
大野狼跳上了房顶。
He started to climb down the chimney!
他从烟囱上跳了下去。
But the third little pig was ready for the wolf.
但是第三只小猪已经为大野狼准备好了。
He had a big pot of hot water on the fire.
他在火上烧了一盆热水。
He took off the lid just in time. The big bad wolf fell down the chimney, and into the pot.Splash!
他及时掀开了盖子。野狼从烟囱中跳了下来，进入了热盆当中，飞溅。
And that was the end of the big bad wolf.
