One morning,Rosie looked out the window and she saw her cat ,Coco.
一天早上，罗西向窗外看，她看见了她的猫秀哈。
He had a bird in his paws.
它的爪子上有一只鸟。
Rosie ran outside into the garden.
罗西从外面跑回了花园。
Coco! Let go ! Let go ! She cried .
她喊叫到，秀哈，让它走！
Coco let the bird go ,and jumped away.
秀哈把鸟放走了，并跑掉了。
But the bird stayed on the grass.
但是鸟还在呆在草坪上。
Rosie ran to get the bird.
罗西跑去抓住那只鸟。
She went inside with it and showed her dad.
她把鸟让爸爸看。
" Coco got this bird ." she said.
她说，秀哈抓到了一只鸟。
"I had to take it away from him .
我必须从它手里把它拿出来。
Its wing looks broken."
它的翅膀似乎折断了。
Her father went to find a box .
她的爸爸找来了一个盒子。
He put an old towel inside it .
他把一条旧毛巾放在了里面。
Rosie put the bird down on the towel.
罗西把鸟放在毛巾里。
They put some food and water in the box for the bird.
他们在盒子里放了些水和吃的。
"I will put the box up here where Coco can't get it ,"said Dad.
爸爸说，我要把盒子放在这里，这样秀哈就够不着了。
The next morning ,Rosie looked in the box.
第二天早上，罗西向盒子里看。
The bird was dead.
小鸟死了。
Rosie was very sad.
罗西非常伤心。
"Dad ,I love Coco,but I don't want him to catch any more birds." she said.
爸爸，我爱秀哈，但是我不想让它再抓鸟了。
"He will have to stay inside.""Coco can't stay inside all the time." said Dad.
爸爸说，它必须呆在家里，它不能老呆在外面。
"He has to run around outside .
它也要在外面活动。
But we can help the birds.
但是我们能够帮助这些鸟。
We can put a little bell on Coco."
我们可以在秀哈脖子上放个铃铛。
"We can go to the shops and buy one ,today," said Rosie.
罗西说，我们今天可以去商店买一个。
After that ,Coco did not catch any more birds!
以后，秀哈再没有在抓到鸟了。
