The Pilgrims were and culture Protestant Christians

Fathers is often used to describe the
founders of the American colonies

in Europe was a Christian and the

the Reformation, the teachings of
Roman Catholicism were challenged b

churches, Catholics and Protestants are
all Christians, but they have slightly
different beliefs and forms of worship
