UNIT 5 Lesson 17 Exercise 1.2 He says he's too busy to spend time with us. Then, when he is with us, he's thinking about other things and he's too nervous to enjoy himself. It's like we're not important enough or something. Or his work is too important to him. It's not fair. He doesn't understand how things are today. Things were different when he was a teenager but he's too stubborn to see that. It's not easy ot make him understand how I feel What can I do? I told him "You're too young to have a motorcycle." He says that all his friends have motorbikes. But I know he's not old enough. He's too young to ride a motorcycle on the road in busy traffic. But he won't listen to me. She says one thing and then she says another. For example, first, she complains that we're not rich enough to buy a new car like all her friends have. Then she tells us that we're too interested in material things. So what does she really want? It seems I can't win!
