EKG technician
Primary duties: An EKG technician conducts diagnostics tests to help physicians diagnose cardiovascular conditions. Also known as electrocardiograph technicians, these medical professionals use EKG equipment to monitor blood pressure and heart performance. They record each patient's test results and assess them to identify heart irregularities that may lead to heart disease or heart attacks. Then they share this information with the patient's physician to help them develop an appropriate treatment plan.
